About Peel Hockey
Peel Hockey is an active member of Hockey WA and is the premier hockey association in the South West region of WA. Peel Hockey has hundreds of members competing in dozens of teams registered in men’s, women’s, juniors and summer in both the local and metropolitan competitions.
The Association is made up of six local clubs and one school, fielding junior and senior teams. The Association has a very successful junior program based on school year age groups starting with Hook in2 Hockey (School Year’s 1 to 4) and Junior Competition’s for school year’s 5-6, 7-9 and 10-12.
The majority of local games and metropolitan home games are played at The Sporting Globe Stadium (Mandurah Hockey Stadium) beside the Halls Head Community Recreation Centre. Club mid-week training commences approx 4-6 weeks prior to the start of the season. During the off-season, there is also a local nine week junior summer competition at the Stadium.
Peel Hockey also have senior and junior representative teams that play in the Hockey WA metropolitan competition.
