NARROGIN CARNIVAL

Upper Great Southern Junior Carnival

Upper Great Southern Junior Hockey carnival (Narrogin Carnival) is a 2-day event where up to 50 teams travel from all over the state to participate. Teams can play an average of 6 games over the weekend, with games played mainly on grass fields & 1 on turf, finishing with crossover/ finals on last day (Sunday).

Teams for Nomination:

- 4/5/6 Boys
- 7/8 Boys
- 4/5/6 Girls
- 7/8 Girls
- 9/10 Mixed (min 3 girls)

Cost:

approx $50 per player + Accommodation

Training

TBA (depending on availability of coaches)

Uniform

Black Socks & Shorts/Skirt/Skorts.
Team Playing Shirt & Jacket provided

Team Viability

Teams are created based on the players registered at date Nominations Close.
All teams require - 11 players, including 1 x goalie, + 1 x Coach + 1 x Team Manager + 1 non-playing umpire to be eligible for nomination.

Team Confirmation

Players will be notified of team viability for nomination by email as soon as possible after Nominations Close.

Late Nomination

Late player nominations will only be accepted if the nomination will confirm the team’s viability.

Volunteers

It’s all hands up for volunteering at this Carnival, assistance required with team management, transport of team & equipment. Please make your selection with your registration.

Playing Ground:

Narrogin Hockey Stadium, Clayton Rd, NARROGIN (approx. 2 ½ hrs from Mandurah)

Transport & Accommodation

Peel Hockey has pre-booked accommodation at the Narrogin Agricultural College (Boarding School) beds are limited with participants considered the priority + 1 parent per family. Additional family members considered once all participants have confirmed. All participants must complete the Accommodation RSVP Form A valid Working With Children’s Check is required for adults (age 18+) staying overnight at camp. Your local club or Peel Hockey Association can sign off applications at Volunteers rate.
